TO GET TO CHAMONIX FROM GENEVA YOU HAVE TO TAKE A BUS OR A TAXI (TAXIES ARE 350 SF = 230 USD), BUSSES ARE 195 FF = 30 USD.

You see the guide and one of the telemark skiers talking, waiting for the others.

All skiers need harness when going down the Vallèe Blanche and also the normal Avalanche beacon under your clothes.  In our back packs we also had a shuffle each.  The guide  is also having a rope in his back pack, in case we fall down in one of the crevasses (this is why we have the harness on).

In the high season the rescue helicopters have 4 lifts a day due to tourists in this area.

In Chamonix there are 14 people  dying in Avalanches a year!  So, think of  SAFETY when you go off-piste.

New Years Eve!!!

Scotch men and their sexy legs, also visible in the pistes.

THIS IS WHY YOU SKI  IN CHAMONIX!

HERE GOING DOWN   "BREVENT" LOOKING OVER TO "AIGUILLE VERTE" (4121M) ON  "LES GRANDS MONTETS" AREA.
