Topaz 19. September - 22. October 2001
| We had crew change with the Geco-Scorpio arriving at Ågotnes out side Bergen on Tuesday. The Topaz crew 2 were starting up the next job, so they took the Topaz close to Bergen. We then didn't take off until 0200 at night Wednesday and got to the Topaz when the sun got up. Then we crewchanged with mob boat. This time the Scorpios mob boat was stand-by at sea so that we could use their davit. This is a much safer way of doing transfer of people and luggage at sea |
| We had the pleasure of having part of one of the Searcher crews onboard with us the first 2 weeks. It was fun for me working with my "old" shift leader from when I was on the Searcher. These two weeks we had some really nice weather too. We thought that we would finish the job in "no time". But the North Sea changes its weather really fast. |
