Geco - Marlin  23. June - 29. July 1998

This trip was in the sign of training.  Without the total of 5 trainees we would have had a problem doing back deck work during week-ends when   fishing gear was left in the sea.  The Americans had a happy 4th of July looking for earth leakage and change out damaged sections.  Still this was an even better trip than last trip regarding  shooting!  The new job with the 10km streamer is going to be finished earlier than expected, I bet the other crew will do even better than us?  To brake up the days, we played soccer on the helideck in the morning.  The instrument room, gunshack, bridge and engine room was present.  It was hot.  On a ts dip the temperature on 1m depth was measured to 34 degrees C, wonder how hot it was on the back deck and helideck then?  For a Norwegian like me knowing the weather in  south of Norway beeing the coldest in 600 years (???) I tried not to complain.
