Lead-in snap :

Work boat and mob boat out at the same time
The lead-in just snapped! Explaining what is going on Balljoint coming onboard
While we had the snapped streamer hanging off the distance rope of streamer # 1 we had a hydraulic leak on reel # A.  It was nice to see that the oil spill kit actually worked.  Unfortunately for those installing a new hose, there was no way around getting covered in oil.  During the first part of the trip we sometimes felt more like being fisher men.  We managed to give some of the nets back to the poor fishermen, but some of the nets we just had to cut while bringing them onboard.  Fishing gear caught on gun distance ropes made the fearing on the lead-ins look like a big ball stopping the distance rope collars moving freely up and down the lead-in when gun arrays where brought onboard for maintenance.
Cleaning up the mess

Seismic vessel or fishing boat?

Fishing net caught on a gun array brought in for maintenance.

New job on the west coast :

The Port in Cochin was actually quite neat.  There seems to be less problem of corruption in this area as well.  We still had to stay for anchor until a navel exercise was done.  But then after having a lot of school kids for a tour onboard we got the permission to sail!

The pilot leaving us outside Cochin.  They were on time going out and also coming back in for crew change (some of the clients were not on time). Leaving Emerald for crew change with the Pacific Navigator in Cochin.
